GIRLS WITH CAMERAS  CAPTURE IT  |  PLAN IT | WE DID IT | LOVE IT

It was an extended 18-month engagement for these two busy Seattlites. Mainly because the couple was set on a sunny outdoor wedding. After over a year of planning and design done by the bride, Chesney (a wedding event coordinator & designer), the date arrived. August 9th, 2008, a day the farmer’s almanac promised would be sunny and warm. Chesney prepared in her suite while Andrew and his friends happily hammed it up for the camera. It was during this time that the rain started. As we all huddled together watching the rain fall, the Bride decided the ceremony would go on. This girl was ready to be married! The guests were seated, the bridal party stood in place, and just as the father of the Bride walked his daughter down the aisle, the sun appeared. It stayed with us all through the ceremony, right up until the couple made their escape on their gorgeous vintage boat (painstaking restored by the groom, Andrew). It was after this that the true torrential rains fell. Not to worry though, it just gave the couple an excuse to hold each other a little bit tighter.
